Texas A&M runs past Florida in the second round

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Aggies junior Khaalia Hillsman notched a double-double to help lift No. 6 seed Texas A&M over No. 11 seed Florida 67-48.

Hillsman scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, while Danni Williams put 17 on the board.

Ronni Williams led the Gators with 18 points and 5 rebounds and SEC Co-Freshman of the Year Delicia Washington went 4-of-10 and added 10 points.

It was a slow start as the Gators couldn't put any points on the board for the remaining 3:07 in the first quarter, while the Aggies scored just their second basket of the game with 2:46 left on the clock.

The Aggies went on a 9-0 run in the third quarter to take the lead.

UP NEXT: Texas A&M will take on No. 3 seed Missouri on SEC Network. Tipoff is approximately 30 minutes after Game 9 of the Quarterfinals.
