HOOVER, Ala. -- No. 2 seed Vanderbilt rallied to a 10th-inning, 7-6 win over No. 7 seed Missouri in the second round of the 2015 SEC Baseball Tournament.

Rhett Wiseman hit the game-winning home run in the bottom of the 10th after Vandy tied the game with two outs in the ninth.

"The day I was having, 3 K's, I thought he [Mizzou center fielder Jake Ring] was definitely catching that," said Wiseman about his walk-off home run. "Looking at the stat line we didn't do much. We got picked up there at the end big time. We're trying to play our best baseball here at the end."

Both teams put two runs on the board in the first inning and the game remained tied until Missouri used a four-run fifth inning to pull away. Ryan Howard led the Missouri offense with three hits in the game, his team-leading 21st multi-hit game of the year.

Six of Vanderbilt's seven runs came from four home runs, including a two-run homer by Jeren Kendall in the seventh and a single blast from Dansby Swanson in the eighth. It was Swanson's second home run of the game after hitting a two-run bomb in the first. Swanson tied the record for most home runs in a single game in the SEC Tournament. The four home runs are a team high for Vanderbilt this season.

With two outs in the bottom of the ninth Vanderbilt pinch hitter Penn Murfee singled to center field and Nolan Rogers scored on an error to tie the game.

Vanderbilt head coach Tim Corbin said of Murfee, "The kid has come up big before and the thing about him is that he plays with an edge and a sense of confidence that's a little bit different than others. I'm happy for him that he stayed engaged in the game and was able to up and do that."

Three Vandy pitchers came in to relieve starter Tyler Ferguson, with Kyle Wright (5-1) picking up the win after entering in the 10th and striking out both batters he faced. Reliever Jordan Sheffield threw five scoreless innings, striking out four and allowing a single. Missouri starter Peter Fairbanks struck out 10 over 5.2 innings. Closer Breckin Williams (4-4) took the loss for the Tigers giving up two runs, one earned, on two hits.

The Commodores improved to 40-17 while the Tigers fell to 30-27 on the season.

Missouri faces No. 11 seed Alabama in an elimination game tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. ET/9:30 a.m. CT on SEC Network. Vanderbilt plays No. 3 seed Texas A&M at 5:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. CT on SEC Network.
