Vandy and Florida to compete for SEC men's golf title

ST.SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. (April 23,2022) -- No. 3 Vanderbilt and No.16 Florida will face one another in the final round of match play at the 2022 SEC Men's Golf Championship at Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Island, Ga.

The Commodores and Gators both won a pair of matches on Saturday to advance to the finals, beginning at 8 am ET on Sunday. The match will be televised live on the SEC Network. Vanderbilt is the reigning champion and will be looking for its third title while Florida looks for its 16th conference championship and first since 2011.

This marks the 21st year for the SEC Championship to be held at the Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Island, Ga. Vanderbilt finished in first place at the end of stroke play, while Florida finished third.
