Three SEC teams set to compete in NCAA Gymnastics Semis
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (April 12, 2023) - Three SEC programs along with five student-athletes have advanced to compete in the 2023 National Collegiate Women's Gymnastics Championships.
The championships, hosted by Texas Woman's University and Knight Eady, will be held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas on April 13-15.
Florida, Kentucky and LSU are among the eight programs that qualified for the team competition. Florida and LSU will compete against California and Denver in Semifinal I on Thursday, April 13 at 3 p.m. ET, live on ESPN2. Kentucky will compete in Semifinal II along with Oklahoma, UCLA and Utah on Thursday at 9 p.m. ET, live on ESPN2. The National Championship will take place on Saturday, April 15 at 4 p.m. ET, live on ABC.
In addition, the championships will also include the top all-around competitor and the top finisher on each event from each regional who are not members of a qualifying team.
