Men's Golfer of the Week
Nick Dunlap  Alabama
So. Huntsville, Ala. 
  • One week after winning his first individual title of the season, Alabama golfer Nick Dunlap had another outstanding week in leading the Crimson Tide to the team championship at the Hamptons Intercollegiate
  • Dunlap made history during the event, setting a school record and tying the NCAA record for lowest single-round score with a second-round score of 12-under par 60
  • He became the 18th golfer in NCAA history to achieve the feat and first to do it this season, setting a Maidstone Golf Club course record in the process
  • Dunlap narrowly missed winning his second consecutive medalist honor, finishing runner-up with a tournament total of 16-under par 200 - all career-best numbers
  • The 16-under ranks as the second-lowest tournament total vs. par in program history, while the 54-hole score of 200 (69-60-71) is tied for fifth-best at Alabama
  • For his three tournaments on the season (eight total rounds played) Dunlap is averaging 67.00 strokes per round, with three top-10 finishes

Men's Freshman of the Week
Koivun Jackson  Alabama
Fr. Chapel Hill, N.C.
  • Highest-placing freshman at the SEC Fall Preview, shot 70-63-71 (-9) to finish T6th
  • Finished in the top six for a second consecutive tournament
  • Set a new career low for 18 holes with round two's 63 (-8)
  • Helped Auburn to a dominant 13-shot win in stroke play
  • Defeated No.1 Gordon Sargent in extra holes to push the Tigers to victory over Vanderbilt in match play

Women's Golfer of the Week
Melanie Walker  Missouri
So. Burke, Va.
  • Walker led the Tigers to a second-place finish at the Johnie Imes Invitational from Sept. 25 to Sept. 27
  • She placed second as an individual with a five-under 211 during the 54 holes of action
  • The 211 and five-under total are new career-bests for Walker, topping her previous low-54 by one stroke
  • The sophomore carded 10 birdies with five bogeys during the tournament, including just three bogeys during the final 51 holes
