MEN
GOLFERS OF THE WEEK
Ryan Hart, Florida
- Won first collegiate tournament at the Daytona Beach Spring Invitational.
- Shot all three rounds under par for a 54-hole score of 207 (-9).
- Posted two rounds in the 60s with a 69 (-3) and career-low 68 (-4). Made 10 birdies and one eagle compared to three bogeys in 54-holes.
- Had bogey-free final round of 70 (-2).
Carson Bacha, Auburn
- Shot 71-68-66 (-11) to win the Tiger Invitational.
- Earned first collegiate win in field of 90 players.
- Tied career low for 18 (-6), set new low for 54 (-11).
- Led Auburn to fourth team title of the season and new Tiger Invite record (-41).
- Team's winning score also stands third in school history for 54 holes.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Wells Williams, Vanderbilt
- Won his first collegiate individual title with a three-round total of 203 at the Cabo Collegiate.
- Shot a bogey-free 65 in the second round and a 4-under-par 67 in the final round which included just one bogey. Williams won the event by five strokes.
WOMEN
GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Mathilde Claisse, South Carolina
- Became the first Gamecock to win the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate in the 11-year history of the prestigious tournament.
- Was also her first career win as she shot a 54-hole score of 208 (-5) ; posted three red numbers with scores of 69-69-70 on the difficult, Pete Dye, par-71 layout.
- Claisse made 11 birdies and led the tournament in par-3 scoring average (2.75, -3).
- She was one of just three in the 90-player field to break par.
- 41 players in the field were ranked in the top-100 of the Golfstat Player Rankings, including four in the top-10.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Edit Hertzman, LSU
- In just her fifth college golf event, Hertzman finished solo second in the nationally-televised Darius Rucker Invitational against one of the toughest fields of the season to date in women's college golf.
- Had five birdies for a final round 67 to move up five places and shoot a three-day total of 4-under par 209, one shot off medalist honors with rounds of 69-73-67 on the par 71 Long Cove Club course. Finished with a tournament best score of -3 on the par four holes and led the field of 90 players with 13 birdies.
- Helped LSU to three of LSU's four team victories this season, including two in back-to-back team wins in the month of February.
- Best previous finish was T23 in Moon Golf Invitational as part on an LSU team win with a -3 213.
