MEN
GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Yuxin Lin, Florida
- Won his first collegiate event at the Southern Highlands Collegiate.
- Shot a tournament score of 203 (-13) to win by three shots.
- Posted all three rounds under par with 64-70-69.
- Tied for lowest round in the field with a round one 64 (-8).
- Only had three bogeys in 54-holes.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Reed Lotter, Auburn
Carded a pair of top-15 finishes in the first two tournaments of collegiate career.
Prestige Individual
- First, shot 217 (+1) to finish seventh in collegiate debut at the Prestige Individual.
- One of four freshmen to finish in the top 10 and the highest placing golfer from the SEC, regardless of class.
- Opening round 67(-5) was the lowest debut round by an Auburn freshman since 2012.
Dorado Beach Collegiate
- Shot 208 (-8) to finish tied for 13th.
- Five of first six collegiate rounds have come at or below par, including four in the 60s.
WOMEN
GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Zoe Slaughter, Texas A&M
- Slaughter made history at the ICON Invitational, shooting a 54-hole program record 18-under, 198.
- She went 7-under, 65 in the first two rounds and finished it off with a 4-under, 68 in the final 18.
- Slaughter led her team to its second tournament championship of the year, and helped A&M record its best 54-hole tournament score ever (-34).
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Caroline Patterson, Tennessee
- Played in the ICON Invitational in Humble, Texas, hosted by the University of Houston at the Golf Club of Houston (Feb. 27-28).
- Carded a 69 after recording only a single bogey in the third round.
- Recorded two under-par outings in the last two rounds (71,69).
- Tied for 20th place at -3 overall, notching the second top-25 finish of the season and her young collegiate career.
