Hurricane Ian forces changes to South Carolina events

COLUMBIA , South Carolina - The women's soccer game against Florida originally scheduled for Friday will now be held on this Thursday at 7 p.m. due to potential impact from Hurricane Ian.

Fans will be allowed to park for free in the Athletic Village Garage. Gates will be open, no purchasing of tickets required. Concessions will not be available, but fans are welcome to bring in their own food and beverages.

Arriving early will be encouraged due to traffic from football.

TV updates will be made available as they come.

Also, due to schedule changes within South Carolina Athletics and potential inclement weather from Hurricane Ian, Thursday's original 2 p.m. start for the Gamecocks' equestrian team against No. 7 Baylor will now be held at Noon. Events will take place at One Wood Farm.
