Ashley McCool of Florida Wins 1-Meter Springboard

Ashley McCool of Florida won the women's 1-meter springboard to begin the 2021 SEC Men's and Women's Diving Championships at the Mizzou Aquatics Center.

McCool posted a final score of 334.35 to win the first event of the championships. Aimee Wilson of Texas A&M came in second place with a score of 318.85, while Brooke Schultz of Arkansas finished in third place with a score of 313.25.

Day two of the 2021 Men's and Women's Diving Championships begins on Thursday, Feb. 18 at 11 a.m. CT with the prelims for the women's 3-meter springboard, followed by the prelims of the men's 1-meter springboard at 3 p.m. CT. The finals for the women's 3-meter will start at 6 p.m. CT, and the finals for the men's 1-meter will be at 7 p.m. CT. All sessions can be viewed on SEC Network+.
