Men's Runner of the Week

 4x400 Relay Team, Georgia

Quartet of Elija Godwin, Matthew Boling, Caleb Cavanaugh and Will Sumner ran the second-fastest time in collegiate track and field history of 2:58.82 to win the 4x400m relay at the Texas Relays. This group set a meet record and established a school record en route to the fastest time in the world this year. Godwin and Boling also ran two legs on the winning 4x200m relay team that became the No. 3 all-time collegiate performer with a 1:20.22.

Men's Field Athlete of the Week

 Keyshawn Strachan, Auburn

Strachan, threw a new lifetime best of 84.27m/276-5 to win the javelin at the 2023 Texas Relays with a school record. After fouling his first attempt, Strachan set the NCAA lead and world leading mark on his second attempt. Breaking his own Bahamas national record, Strachan ranks No. 4 in NCAA history in the event.

Men's Co-Freshmen of the Week

 Jordan Turner, Kentucky

Turner, earned his first win of the season after setting a personal best in the long jump with a 26'1.75"/7.97m (1.2) at the Texas Relays. His mark ranks No. 4 in the NCAA and is best among freshmen.

 Peyton Bair, Mississippi State

Bair, was the SEC's top performer in the decathlon this past weekend after finishing second overall at the 95th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin. Bair enters the week ranked 2nd nationally and 1st in the SEC this outdoor season with 7,819 points.

Women's Runner of the Week

 Masai Russell, Kentucky

Russell, set the collegiate record in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 12.36 (2.0) seconds at the Texas Relays. Russell eclipsed the mark of 12.39 seconds set by Brianna Rollins of Clemson in 2013. Russell also moved past the Kentucky standard of 12.40 seconds owned by Jasmine Camacho-Quinn in her win.

Women's Field Athlete of the Week

 Alida Van Daalen, Florida

Daalen, recorded a pair of NCAA top-five marks last weekend at the Florida Relays, including the No. 1 mark in the nation in the shot put. In the first throw of her Gators outdoor career, Alida Van Daalen broke the discus throw school record (58.70m/192'7"). Van Daalen's mark earned her a third-place finish and is the fifth farthest in the nation this year and the twenty second best mark in the world this year. In the shot-put competition, Van Daalen placed first with a mark of 17.94m/58'10.25". This was the fourth best throw in school history, the best throw in the nation this year, and the fifth best throw in the world this year.

Women's Freshman of the Week

 Anthaya Charlton, Kentucky

Charlton, had three top-three finishes at the Texas Relays, including a personal best in the 100m dash. She finished in 11.13 to move to No. 2 in the NCAA, and she placed third in the long jump with a mark of 6.52m/21-4.75. Charlton also was a member of the Kentucky 4x100 meter relay team that clocked a time of 42.81 and is No. 1 in the SEC and No. 3 in the NCAA.
